Ingredients
Dang
Gui – Radix Angelicae Sinensis.
A frequently used herb in Traditional Chinese Medicine,
Dang Gue is increasingly being used by Western Herbalists
as a woman’s tonic herb. Its popularity is
founded in its ability to Tonify the Blood and regulates
the menses as in irregular menstruation, amenorrhoea,
dysmenorrhoea, etc. It also Invigorates and harmonizes
the Blood and keeps the intestines moist. All
of these features make this a primary herb in the quest
to build female vitality formulation. It is sweet,
acrid, bitter and warm and enters the Heart, Liver and
Spleen channels.
Bai
Shao –Radix Paeonia Lactiflorae.
Bai Shao also affects the blood, but in a nourishing
capacity as in Restraining the Yin or Nutritive and
Protective levels of the blood. It also Pacifies
the Liver preventing Liver Qi Constrain or disharmony
between the Liver and the Spleen. It is bitter,

She
Chuang Zi – Semen Cnidii Monnieri.
This herb Dries Dampness and Warms the Kidneys and strengthens
the Yang which makes ideal for the movement of Qi to
the Lover Burner. It is acrid, bitter and warm
and enters the Kidney and Spleen channels.
Cang
Zhu – Rhizoma tractylodis.
In Chinese
Medicine Dampness is a complicated classification involving
the viscous and potential of body fluids and there effects
on energetic motility. When Dampness prevails
energy becomes stagnant having a profound effect on
vitality and vigour. In this respect Cang Zhu
works its magic as a specific herb to Dry Dampness and
strengthens the Spleen with some emphases on the excretion

Xie – Rhizoma Alismatis.
This This herb Drains Kidney Fire and is used for Deficient
Kidney Yin patterns. It promotes urination and leeches

enters the Kidney and Bladder channels.
Chen
Pi – Pericarpium Citri.
Chen Pi moves The Qi very strongly and strengthens the
Spleen. It also transforms Phlegm and directs
the Qi downward while preventing Stagnation. It
will increase cardiac output while dilating coronary
arteries. It is also Anti-inflammatory and prevents
the cloying nature of Stagnation. It is acrid,
bitter, warm and aromatic entering the Spleen, Stomach

Catuaba.This
is a Yang Tonic herb from South America which has a
renowned reputation for moving energy to the genital
